What causes the error "Bad Channel to Agent Call" when implementing remote testing with SilkTest agent?
This is a common error when rebooting a machine running remote tests. It occurs when rebooting the machine before disconnecting from the agent. The host still assumes it is connected and therefore the connection is improperly terminated.
The way to get around this is to place a disconnect statement immediately after initiating the reboot.
This will ensure the connection is terminated properly so it can be resumed on reboot.
