What is a link file (*.lnk) in relation to SilkTest?

What is a link file (*.lnk) in relation to SilkTest?

In the SilkTest Online Help file under the heading "Partner", it mentions that a link file can be started using the Partner command line option.

Partner [-complog filename] [-m mach] [[-q] [-query query name] [-opt optionset.opt] [-p mess] [-resexport] [-resextract] [-r] scr.t/suite/plan.pln/link.lnk [args]

The link file included at the end of the command line options is simply a Windows Shortcut ( .lnk). With this option, SilkTest can be used to run a plan/suite/testscript through a shortcut to the actual file.
