Why do I get "Could not load "MyPath/SilkTest/libx/libxt.so" when starting the SilkTest Motif Agent?

Why do I get "Could not load "MyPath/SilkTest/libx/libxt.so" when starting the SilkTest Motif Agent?

The shortcut to the libXT library on the Linux box is pointing to the wrong file. To correct this problem:

  1. Navigate to the /SilkTest/libx/folder
  2. Right-click on the libXT.so shortcut and Send To Trash
  3. Navigate to usr/X11R6/lib
  4. Right-click on libXt.so.6.0 and select Make Link
  5. Move the link to /SilkTest/libx/folder
  6. Right-click on the libXt.so.6.0 link and Rename to libXT.so

The Agent will now start correctly.
