Why does SilkTest not return to foreground after executing a test on Windows XP?

Why does SilkTest not return to foreground after executing a test on Windows XP?

Sometimes Windows XP will not return SilkTest to the foreground after completing execution of a test; instead, the SilkTest instance in the taskbar will flash. The taskbar instance of SilkTest then must be clicked to restore SilkTest to the foreground.

To overcome this, examine the following registry setting:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Desktop/ForegroundLockTimeout

Set the value of this registry entry to zero. This should ensure that SilkTest is automatically restored to foreground after execution of a test.

Please note that this is on a per-User basis; each Windows User account that logs in to use SilkTest will need to change this setting.
