Why does SilkTest throw the error message "*** Error: Unable to open <path to results file>\results.res"?

Why does SilkTest throw the error message "*** Error: Unable to open <path to results file>\results.res"?

When a results directory is specified in the SilkTest "Options > Runtime" and the directory specified resides on a mapped network drive, sometimes SilkTest can throw the error "*** Error: Unable to open \results.res".

For example:

*** Error: Unable to open Z:\Results\Test1.res

If this problem occurs, check that the mapping to the specified drive letter is intact on the local machine and that the directory specified exists on the network drive.
