Why does the SilkTest GetChildren method return hidden items when you have set the argument binvisible to false?

Why does the SilkTest GetChildren method return hidden items when you have set the argument binvisible to false?

With the Silk Test Classic agent and testing Internet Explorer there is a parameter called invisible (set True by default) that may overwrite the argument used in GetChildren.

To uncheck this, complete the following: - (IE DOM extension)

  1. Open the "DOM extensions" dialog box by going through the menu selection "Options / Extensions" and click on the "Extension..." button
  2. Uncheck Invisible.
  3. Select OK twice.

After completing these steps the additional bInvisible argument will work correctly for the GetChildren method.

For additional information on the GetChildren method please refer to the help within SilkTest.
