Why does the image not appear in bitmap tool when using the WaitBitmap method in SilkTest?

Why does the image not appear in bitmap tool when using the WaitBitmap method in SilkTest?

This has been explained in the SilkTest online Help. It says that WaitBitmap can only monitor the screen if an application relinquishes control in a specific situation. Therefore, WaitBitmap is not useful for performance testing on MS Windows in all situations.

To overcome this issue it is necessary to deploy a different method or create a function. The sample code below can replace WaitBitmap.

String sOverallTime
HTIMER TotalTimer
TotalTimer=TimerCreate()
TimerStart (TotalTimer)
While (! wWindow.VerifyBitmap("image"))
    sleep(0.001)
TimerStop(TotalTimer)
sOverallTime=TimerStr (TotalTimer)
