Why when SilkTest is referencing an "".inc" file does recording declarations bring up a different identifier than when recording identifiers?

Why when SilkTest is referencing an "".inc" file does recording declarations bring up a different identifier than when recording identifiers?

When using a ".inc" file and recording window identifiers the window is seen as a different window in your application than when recording windows declarations.
e.g.

Window X is seen as window Y when recording window identifiers but when recording window declarations window X is seen as window X.

Check the frame file for duplicate tags, e.g. that the "window X tag" is not the same as the "window Y tag".

The online help in SilkTest it tells you how to deal with unique tags under "multiple tags/multitag statement".

Specify a unique child as part of the tag in the frame file, e.g.

Window X
tag "[Window]TestWindow/[TextField]Name/.."
...

Window Y
tag "[Window]TestWindow/[Pushbutton]Search/.."
...
