Why will SilkTest not execute a test with Remote Desktop when it is minimized?

Why will SilkTest not execute a test with Remote Desktop when it is minimized?

SilkTest will treat the Remote Desktop window as the GUI under test. When it is minimized it cannot be tested. SilkTest requires Remote Desktop to be non-minimized so that the mouse and keyboard can be controlled by the SilkTest Agent. Remote Desktop can only be used for network testing when it is non-minimized.
