When a user runs a test in SilkCentral Test Manager (SCTM) and then attempts to run a test in SilkTest Workbench, the error "License Check Failed - Agent is running in SCTM mode" may occur. Should this happen, the following should be performed to resolve the error:
 

  1. Close SilkTest Workbench.
  2. Stop the SilkTest Open Agent by right-clicking the Open Agent icon in the taskbar and choosing Stop Agent.
  3. Restart the SilkTest Workbench by choosing Start > Programs > Silk > SilkTest > SilkTest Workbench.
