"TCP Provider: An existing connection was forcibly closed" error when importing test assets in Silk Test Workbench

When using the "Import Assets" feature in Silk Test Workbench you may experience the following error:-

After selecting OK, this may be followed by another error:-

These errors can be caused if the Silk Test Workbench client machine is connecting with an unsupported version of the SQL Server Native Client.
For example, if you are using SQL Server 2012 can you ensure you use SQL Server Native Client 11.0 (32bit) on the client machine when connecting to your workbench database.
