Does silk test support CICD pipeline on VSTS?

Hi ,

We are currently deploying our application using "Visual Studio team services" which supports Continuous integration and continuous deployment.

We are trying to check if we can also trigger our Silk test scripts using this pipeline.

Please do let me know.

Thanks,

Sangeetha

Hi Sangeetha,

Which Silk Test client are you using?

- Silk4J
- Silk4NET
- Workbench
- Classic

If you are using Silk4NET, I believe VSTS has a direct integration for executing test assemblies.

As Silk4J is a plugin for Eclipse, you will need to integrate Eclipse with VSTS.

Eclipse has an official plugin for TFS called Team Explorer Everywhere.

marketplace.eclipse.org/.../team-explorer-everywhere

We don't officially support this, so configuration is entirely up to the end user.

There are plenty of third party articles/sites online in regards to configuring and executing JUnit tests in Eclipse with TFS/VSTS integration.
