Silk 4J Basics and creating Data driven framework

Jump to solution

 Hi,

I am doing POC with Silk 4J for my project. I have couple of questions,

1. Which is the best version of Eclipse for Silk 4J. I am using eclipse Juno -Java EE along with JDK 1.8. Is that ok?

2. I was trying to achieve data driven frame work, what is the best way to achieve that. I am trying with apache POI to connect with Excel. Is there any other way? If you have any samples please share.

Thanks,

Alice

Hi Alice,

Eclipse Juno is supported and should be fine. You could also use a more recent version. Your approach for data-driven testing is also valid.
