I have been using thread.sleep, while I need my script to wait. Is there any wait feature in Silk 4J?

This should provide the desired information for you including the wait functions available.
It is usually better waiting FOR SOMETHING to happen (like a control existence), instead of just waiting some random time.
If you describe your use case it will be easier to give an advice, but I suppose that waitForObject and waitForProperty could help you well.
