Silk 4J wait

Jump to solution

Hi,

I have been using thread.sleep, while I need my script to wait. Is there any wait feature in Silk 4J?

You can use this.
import com.borland.silktest.jtf.Utils;
Utils.sleep(1000);

Hi Alice

You can review the documentation for our synchronization below:

documentation.microfocus.com/.../index.jsp

This should provide the desired information for you including the wait functions available.

It is usually better waiting FOR SOMETHING to happen (like a control existence), instead of just waiting some random time.

If you describe your use case it will be easier to give an advice, but I suppose that waitForObject and waitForProperty could help you well.
