mfc140u.dll is missing

I have installed Silk Test 19.5 on Win 7. When I opened and try to record I got error

"The program can't start because mfc140u.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix problem."

then the app is forced close.

Could anyone suggest me about this error?

Hello,

which Silk Test client are you using? Is your AUT starting without issues on the same Windows 7 machine without Silk Test?

RE: mfc140u.dll is missing

Hi

The mfc140u.dll is not shipped with Silk Test and is part of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. The error would occur if this is missing or corrupt on your machine.

You can download the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio. Please see download link for Microsoft VC++ 2017 redistribute. Can you install both 64 bit and 32bit versions? support.microsoft.com/.../the-latest-supported-visual-c-d ownloads
