File Sharing Lock count exceeded. Increase MaxLocksPerFile registry entry.

Description: Receiving "Increase MaxLocksPerFile registry entry" error when deleting results from TestPartner access database. This could possibly be caused by a registry issue.

Resolution:

Go to Start | Run | Type in 'regedit' and navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\JET and

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\Office\14.0\Access Connectivity Engine\Engines

Within those keys you should find one or more 'MaxLocksPerFile' items. Set each one to some higher value (I used 3000000, in decimal). If you're having trouble to find the 'MaxLocksPerFile' registry key manually, you could right click on the 'Jet' | find | search by the name 'MaxLocksPerFile', it will point out where is it. Test it and let me know if you still have the issue. I have attached a screenshot for your reference.
