TestPartner Licensing Error administrator excluded user account

TestPartner Licensing Error administrator excluded user account

When attempting to launch TestPartner a TestPartner Licensing Error “The administrator has excluded this user account, restricting it from using the requested application” is displayed.

In the Distributed License Management (DLM) utility when clicking the Status button with the TestPartner feature selected an Error -18 status message is displayed.

The above errors indicate that the license has the <Umanage> tag.  The Umanage feature allows a license administrator to manage which end-users have access to a key.  The license administrator MUST set up the user_management information if a license has the <Umanage> tag.

If the Umanage feature is not required, then the <Umanage> tag can be removed from the license file by making a request to the SupportLine helpdesk.
