REST API: "failed to update monitor" errors

I have a REST API monitor running against a cloud-based API provider. We receive occasional failures, and the error in the report from SiteScope says "failed to update monitor." What does this mean exactly?

That message means that the monitor couldn't complete the operation.  Can you please check if there are any network issues between SiteScope server and the target server?

Also, try to increase the monitor frequency to see if this helps with the alerts.
