(SiS) Support Tip : troubleshooting SSH2 connection issues using mindterm MSG_CHANNEL_DATA outputs

SiteScope uses mindterm.jar to handle SSH2 connections. Sometimes one may want to analyze exact commands sent from SiteScope and exact replies received from the target. We can trace this layer by configuring extra system properties to SiteScope start-up parameters, after enabling usual mindterm debug for <SiteScope>\logs\mindterm\<target>_SSH2out.log# as seen below.

e.g. on Windows, open Registry Editor and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\HPE SiteScope\serviceParam and prepend following system properties:
-DMT.DEBUG_TX=true -DMT.DEBUG_RX=true

MT.DEBUG_TX-RX.png

NOTE: This troubleshooting method is NOT recommended on the production system due this detailed tracing may instead cause unexpected load and generate huge outputs. Please find some development/test SiteScope instance just populated with very small number of monitors enough to troubleshoot SSH related issues.
