SiteScope-BSM(OMi) integration mechanism

Jump to solution

Hello,

Is both BSM and HP Operations Manager integrations needed to have a clean integration between SiteScope and BSM in case OMi is a component of BSM plateform.

See picture below showing the two types of integrations proposed from SiteScope side.

For example, could we see SiteScope events in the BSM(OMi) dashboard if using only the first type of integration (BSM integration)?

Regards,

Elmassimo

Yes, you do need to configure both integrations. The first one (BSM) is responsible for metrics and topology flows. The second one (OM) handles event flow.

Thanks Dmitry.

Everytime I heard about OMi it was associated to BSM.

That's what causes this confusion.

Now it's clear OMi is not BSM.
