Trigger alert with delay

Hi,

We have created a Log file monitor in sitescope which is working perfectly fine as per the requirement.  But now our client wants to modify the alert triggering condition for this monitor in such a way that the alert should be triggered from this monitor only if this monitor remains in error continuously for 5 minutes and they dont want the alert to be triggered instantly. Is there any way in sitescope so that we can delay the alert generation?

Re: Trigger alert with delay

Hello Roopesh_Shetty,

Thank you for contacting us!

Regarding your question, you can achieve this by following this:

1.  Change the error frequency of the monitor to 1 Minute

2. Create an alert and then select the alert action.

3. Set the trigger frequency to "Only alert if monitor was previously in "error" at least "5" times

http://prntscr.com/mkqx3q

4. Save everything.

Please let us know if you have any doubt or question, it is a pleasure to help you.
