Disabling the automatic creation of process tasks during a VCM session

Problem:

According to the users guide, when enhanced process links are enabled in a project the CPC will automatically create a process task when performing tasks such as view compare/merges. Additionally it states that with the VCM (from 2008) it creates process tasks whenever a VCM occurs.

Is there a way to disable the automatic creation of process tasks during a VCM session?

Resolution:

There is no way to turn off the creation of Process Tasks during a VCM commit. The "Enhanced Process Links" setting only applies to process links created during the Check-in/Add process.
