Error loading msvcr71.dll

Hi,

I am getting an error loading msvcr71.dll from C:\Program Files\Borland\Java\Sun1.6.0_29\bin upon launching Starteam client. Is this DLL needed? Upon comparing with other machines, they don't have this msvcr71.dll but they were able to launch Starteam client.

Even a fresh reinstall of Starteam client does not include that dll.

RE: Error loading msvcr71.dll

what platform (Operating System version) are you installed and running on, please?

What version of the StarTeam client (SDK/CPC) are you using?

What exactly is the error message, and can you tell which process is trying to load the .dll?

Is the .dll in your Windows/System directory, and have you tried removing it temporarily to see if the launch succeeds?

RE: Error loading msvcr71.dll

This error appears when something wrong with your Microsoft Visual .net files (this time with msvcr71.dll) and you can easily solve it by reinstalling MS Visual .net or by downloading your missing msvcr71.dll from http://fix4dll.com/msvcr71_dll. You should copy it to your windows folder and Starteam root folder.
