How to add a column with an item (file) state

Jump to solution

Hello

In CPC 14.0, when I have selected Change Request in upper pane and Change Tab in lower pane - is it possible to add column with item state to the lower pane so I can see the state of linked files (Current, Out-of-date etc)?

Thanks,

Premek

Hello Premek,

Unfortunately no, this is not possible.

The reason for this is that the Change Packages displayed have already been committed to the database, and as such the file(s) listed are "historical" as in the change has occurred in the past for that particular Change Package.

Even if you modify a file now (so the File is 'Modified'), this Change Package will only display the information relevant to the Change Package. All check-ins that create a Change Package will therefore be 'Current' at that time.

The associated Revision Number is displayed, and you can right-click and select various options for the file, including 'Item Properties' and 'Select in View' if you wish to query the current status of the File.
