Trace to File?

Jump to solution

I want to get linked file in each linked ChangeRequest. Do know how to do this?

Link[] links = cr.findLinks();
View view = cr.getView();
List<CRFile> v = new ArrayList<CRFile>();
for (int i = 0; i < links.length; i++) {
Link l = links;
filterFile(l.resolveChild(), v);
}
TraceCollection tc = cr.getTraces(false);
for (int i =0; i < tc.size(); i++) {
Trace t = (Trace)tc.get(i);

Any help will be appreciation.

please take a look at the processItem class.

ProcessItem pi = new ProcessItem(cr);

ViewMemberCollection vmc = pi.resolve();

this returns the set of all files (& folders, if any) linked to the process item.

it takes care of internally resolving links, traces changes, etc. and produces the results you need.
