alternate application - comparison util ST CPC 16.2

Hi

I put in the executable path for Beyond Compare, but it only opens up the application, it does not load the two revisions in question.

Do I use the options box below?

Please help!

Thanks

Ed

Hi Ed,
Yes, you need to specify the files/revision paremeters in the options box.
e.g.
<left file> <right file> <center file> <output file>

i think you'd need to consult the beyond compare documentation to determine the naming conventions.

If this can help, I use BC4. These are my setting:
Merge Utility: C:\Program Files\Beyond Compare 4\BCompare.exe
Options:$usertip $branchtip $basefile $resultfile
Compafrison Utility: C:\Program Files\Beyond Compare 4\BCompare.exe
Options: $file1 $file2
