Members of the group with HIDDEN attrib

I often need to add/delete users from the groups.
NSM does great job with deleting/creating folders

But recently all the member folders got created with hidden attrib

Bit of a problem, as my WinXP setup does not display hiddent files, so users
could not see their group spaces

Any idea why?

The template for the group has -member- WITHOUT the hidden attrib

Re: Members of the group with HIDDEN attrib

Sebastian,

My first and only guess is that the -member- has the hidden attribute
flagged. By design if you make the -member- hidden than NSM believes
that you want the member directories to be hidden.

Can you double check from the command-line using the old dos attrib
command to check the hidden flag on the -member- directory?

thanks,

Re: Members of the group with HIDDEN attrib

Checked, it is definitely NOT the case (sorry, would be too easy)

Re: Members of the group with HIDDEN attrib

Sebastian,
Can you send an email to storagemanager-at-novell.com with a copy of
your enginems.txt file? Please include the names of some of the users
that showing up hidden.

thanks,

Re: Members of the group with HIDDEN attrib

I could not duplicate it. Done a trial run of few add/removes & it worked OK
