issues after upgrading to v2.00.08
I got couple of issues after upgrading:
1. When I abort a pending event, it keeps coming back in queue.
2. When I use a folder name called "USER_TEMPLATE" changing the policy
storage template to will complain "The template path is sub-directory
of a target path." It is actually the same level in the target path
(which is "USER". Never had this error in the previous version. Had
to work around it by renaming the template folder to "TEMPLATE_USER".
3. NSM doesn't recognize short names for folders.... i.e. backfilling
users that have home directory attributes that have 8.3 naming folders
doesn't work. We need to use the short names to be compatible with an
old application 😞

Re: issues after upgrading to v2.00.08
Problems:
1. Does the Aborting message not show up on the aborted pending event?
2. If you have template folder called \\server\volume\USER_TEMPLATE
defined in the policy and you have a target path pointed to
\\server\volume you will the message "the template path is a
sub-directory of the target path."
It should be OK to have \\server\volume\USER_TEMPLATE template with a
\\server\volume\USER target path. Is this causing the problem?
3. Is the long name space loaded on this particular volume? Is the users
CN an 8.3, or only files within the users directory? Or, is the users
directory an 8.3 and different from the users CN?
Can you give me some more details?
thanks,

Yes. It goes away then it comes back. Haven't been able to get rid of
it.

Yes. This is exactly what I have.

Yes, it's loaded.

Can

The user's CN can be any lenght and the folders can be any lenght but
the home directory attribute needs to be 8.3 format when the CN is
longer than 8 characters.
