pending events

Hi,

We use IDM to move users accross our directory. Then we use NSM to move
their data accross servers according to where they are. The problem is
that many moves aren't done automatically (but some are...). Everything
is working fine if we do a backfill operation with enforce the policy to
move home directories (so the policies are correct).

Any idea?

Many thanks

Oliver

Re: pending events

Olivier,
It sounds like you do not have enough event monitors. If you send a
dumpconfig to storagemanager-at-novell.com I can help you find the
locations/servers that need additional monitoring.

Rule of thumb for event monitors is that there should be a minimum of
two per replica ring.

thanks,
NSM Development

Re: pending events

Oliver,
I am not able to send you email as the messages just bounce back. I
tried to call you, but your line does not get answered. I am posting
this message in a hope of reaching you.

Can you send me an email of when you will be by your phone?

thanks,
NSM Development
