IP address for various Stormrunner load generator locations

For Stormrunner - can I find out what IP addresses the load is generated from for various locations ? I need to allow that traffic in through a fireall.

Thanks, Ed

Re: IP address for various Stormrunner load generator locations

Hey,

Usually, ip addresses are allocated dynamically by AWS or by Azure.

To know which ip addresses were allocated to a test after initialization, use the Download LG IPs option (see screenshot).
You can configure test to start in suspended mode, download the ip addresses, then resume the test after allowing traffic in firewall.

If you need to know the ip addresses in advance, or want to use the same ip addresses for several tests, you can use the IP Whitelist feature. You will need to open a support ticket and provide us some details that will let us know how many IP addresses you need, and in which cloud locations. You can find more details in our online documentation: http://stormhelp.saas.hpe.com/Latest/Content/Storm/t_IPWhiteList.htm?Highlight=whitelist

I hope this helps,

Hi Oded_Keret,

What do you mean by starting a test in "Suspended mode"? How do we do it?

Thanks in advance

There is a 'Delayed Start' option in test's General setting page.. Please refer to:
