Re: DBSPI - Oracle Metric 29 - SQL Query

Hello,

DBSPI - 0029, is a metric which alerts on 'Number of sessions waiting for release of a lock'. The SQL which gets executed is 'select count(*) from v$session where lockwait is not null'. The default threshold set for this metric is '0.5', which implies that even if one session is waiting for release of lock, an alert is generated.
