executing a script once through a monitor template

Jump to solution
I need to execute a monitoring script (which executes continuosly) using a template. The script has a loop, execute once and sleeps for 60s before continuing again).

ie., i dont want to set the polling interval. it should be distributed through a template, and executed once.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Have your script check to see if it's running already and exit if it is. If it's not running, then it will start a new process. Now set the polling interval to whatever you want. That's how I'd do it. Good luck.
