Ability to create custom test types that can be used in Application Models

0 Votes

The customer's application includes objects for which the OOTB test objects operations are not functioning properly.

For instance, a web element, that in order for its "click" operation to work properly, the user must call "onmouseover" first.

The requirement is to be able to create custom control types inherited from existing test object types, and overriding their operations (e.g.: that calling "click" will first make internally a call to "onmouseover"). Once the custom controls types are created, it should be possible to create instances of them in the application model and use the appmodel objects from code.
