QTP 9.5 not recognizing the browsers opened from a PB windows

Hi
Application Back ground:
Our application under test is built using Power Builder. Gradually the application is getting migrated to Java (jsp pages) built which uses jsf framework. The JSP pages are invoked from Power Builder application.

Issue:
Initially when QTP is installed we are able to identify the browser objects even on jsp pages without any issues. After logging off and logging in again into the machine the browser objects on jsp pages of the application are not identified by QTP. Please find the same as screenshot.

Surprisingly the objects of other browser pages like Google, sample jsp pages (which are not invoked from the power builder application) are identified properly using QTP 9.5.

We also tried registering the new browser control utility:

1. Start -> Programs -> Quick Test Professional -> Tools -> Register New Browser Control
2. Type in the path the application executable or browse to it by pressing the "..." button.
Click

But this dint solve the problem.

We have the following Softwares installed.
Power Builder
QTP 9.5
Internet Explorer

Re: QTP 9.5 not recognizing the browsers opened from a PB windows

hi,
Can anyone suggest the solution for this issue.

Our application under test is built using jsf framework.

Issue:
While recording the QTP identifies the object in the application, after re-running the scripts, the QTP recognize only one screen when navigate to other tab/screen in the same aaplication it is not able to identify the objects.

The QTP recognise the object in the second screen/tab as a home page, due to which it fails to identify the object present in that screen.

The QTP version used is 9.5

Can anyone suggest the solution for this problem
