QTP/UFT support tip: How to use LSMON

You can run the LSMON utility on a client computer (running UFT) that is connected to a concurrent license server, or to the host computer (the concurrent license server).

The LSMON is used to shows:

1 The maximum number of concurrent UFT users allowed.

2 The number of computers currently connected to the concurrent license server.

3 The IDs of the computers currently connected to the concurrent license server.

4 The number of licenses currently not in use.

 

To run the LSMON utility from a client computer and display information for all the computers in the network, follow these steps:

-Open CMD

-Navigate to the patch were SLMON is located

-Type LSMON <license server host name>.

 

In the screenshot below the LSMON utility is located in C:\temp\utils

 

The information display will be similar to this:
