UFT Excel Forms and Ribbon automation

Hello, Does UFT support automation of Excel Ribbon and forms? We have a huge Excel forms with business logic and ribbon controls to provide additional validation and form entry functionality.

We have been able to automate pretty much everything that we could using Excel COM API and have recorded actions for Excel ribbon, which works fine.

However, we have not been able to automate Excel forms which open after the ribbon control is clicked.  QTP does not recognize the fields inside the form and all we see is:

Window("Excel").Window("Ribbon Control Name").WinObject("F3 Server 23780000_2").Click 393,21

This prevents us from extracting information from the form, or entering it.  Is it possible to do what we're trying to do with UFT?
