Re: Anyone worked on UFT 14 with GitLab CI?

Hi Jay,

Hope you are doing great!

My name is Manuel Solano from MicroFocus UFT team.

If you check our Product Availabilty Matrix you can see that is not a supported technology.

However, you can try using UI Automation for this kind of unsupported technologies.

Regards,

Hi Manuel,

Do we have any plans in future releases?

Thanks

Re: Anyone worked on UFT 14 with GitLab CI?

I've just stared using GitLab for UFT source control and it seems to work well so far. Would be nice to integrate Jenkins and GitLab for UFT. I think you can do this with LeanUFT but we have a lot of UFT scripts which are working well so it would not make sense to switch to Lean at this point.

Re: Anyone worked on UFT 14 with GitLab CI?

hi,

Though it is not supported at the moment, I am interested in the use case that how you want it to be. As you may know that UFT does provide a plugin for Jenkins. And UFT does support Git as a source control.

What is it about GitLab CI\CD? In what way UFT can play here? At any rate, you're welcome to open an ER for Microfocus to address the support in the future releases.

Thank you.

James
