Chrome v38 is not supported by QTP 11.0.

To get some level of support for Chrome v38, you must upgrade to UFT 11.53 and apply patch UFT_00106. That patch provides beta level support for Chrome v38.

If you have a valid support contract, you can access the Product Availability Matrices for the QTP/UFT product lines through the HP Software Support Online web site.

KM438391 - Support Matrices for UFT, Service Test VTD, and QTP

KM1351017 - QTP Product Availability Matrix

KM171418 - What browsers (and technologies) are supported by the Web Add-in?

KM1312694 - Does the Web Add-in support Google Chrome?
