Can I install FTCLS on the same server as ALM11?

Hello.

 

My company has just bought some QTP11 licenses and I have to install the License Server (FTCLS) on a production server.

 

We have a ALM11 server running on a VM, with very good configuration ( cloud server ).

The QTP license usage is going to be very low, we only have 15 licenses.

 

Can I install the FTCLS on the same server as the ALM11 or I should get a server only for it?

I opened a ticket for HP and they confirmed to me that it can be done.

"... license server can be on the same server as ALM. FTCLS is just a small service and doesn't use a web server, for that reason it should not affect ALM... "
