HELP! UFT testing on Windows 2012 server without an active remote desktop sessions!

We have setup Jenkins to execute UFT(v12.02) tests on a remote windows 2012 server. Jenkins uses the HP Application Automation tools and is configured to run HP tests from file system. The Jenkins slave connects using a non personal account to the server. The test does not require graphical content. It executes ODBC tests.
We discovered that  the UFT test fails if no user is connected to the server or is disconnected.

1 -->  does UFT need an active session to run it's tests?

When 2 or more users are connected, UFT starts running on a session.
2 --> where is configured on which session the test will run?

We tested the UFT run option "Allow UFT to continue running GUI" and noticed that it works for already running tests only.
3 --> is that correct?

Please anybody have a suggestion?
