How to read mail using IMAP?

I want to read gmail mail using IMAP. I don't want to use third party dll or software.

How could I read mail??

"CDO.Message" object  is used to send email.

Is there any object which will read mail through IMAP server??

Re: How to read mail using IMAP?

I've not done this before but from Google search it does not seem that this can be achieved without 3rd party resources as MS just does not have it built-in in the OS from a discussion ten years ago: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/scriptcenter/en-US/29326770-99b8-4821-9f52-11fe5cce9e4f/read-email-using-a-script?forum=ITCG

If you are using outlook, then I think it will be much easier to achieve using office automation.

Re: How to read mail using IMAP?

Thank you for the reply.
If it is not possible I will need reference to prove that.
I found following link where some code is written, but I didn't get that. Even I tried to execute in UFT but got an error "Activex component can't create object" Can you please check that code?

Re: How to read mail using IMAP?

The code that you ran relies on 3rd party resources, I suppose you will need to install their product to be able to run it.
