Is there a wizard or additional tool to help identify the addins needed to record an application?

Hi,

Is there a wizard or additional tool to help identify the addins needed to record an application? For example, HPE Load Runner has the Protocol Advisor (once a record in an application is done, it informs about the protocol/s it considers to be used in order to record that application).

Thanks,

Regards

Hi Antonio

At the moment there is no such tool in UFT, you can always use the Object Spy to see how UFT recognizes an object if the needed addins are not loaded you can check the class property of the object and get an idea what techology is involved then choose accordingly.

As of today UFT can recognized almost any UI technology by using diffrent recorging methods like Insight Recording based on object apperance /image or UI Automation aside of all other add-ins available.

Hope this helps

regards.
