Is there some sort of new issue with UFT 12.52 regarding memory leak?

I keep getting the message telling me that UFT 12.52 is running out of memory.

That is after you run some tests a couple of times and then just leaving UFT idle on your PC without doing anything.

Is there a newer Patch that may have the "fix" to this?

Thanks.

I've been seeing this issue since the intro of 12.50 and commonly on 12.51 and 12.52.  I see a correlation between this happening, accessing Help, as well as loading API tests.  I've reported this and received hotfixes that address it partially but no real fix.

I do not have a solution, rather this is pretty common for us - however rarely debilitating as it was in 12.50.

Thanks for your input, John.

Yes, this memory leak thing is quite easy to reproduce once you bring up that Online Help and play around with the Index tab to search for items.

I think HP should do more QA on this issue since having 8Gig of RAM is now not enough to avoid seeing this "low memory" encounters.

Maybe just rewrite the help page. Not often you find a help page that is as slow and unusable as HPs
