Licence server key query

Jump to solution

We're in the process of installing UFT 12.51 and had originally planned to upgrade the existing 12.02 server, so had requested the key based upon this machine.

It's now been decided to move to a virtual machine instead. Therefore do I need to request a new licence key once this new machine has been built? We've not yet installed 12.51 and so haven't used the licence key.

Thanks

Hi

I hope you have a nice day

Regarding your question, the license of HP Autopass server(License server for UFT 12.51) are generated based on the IP of the server, so if IP of the original planned machine changed on the new one you will need to generate a new license based on the new IP of the new server.
