License server for Cloud

We have a team of automation engineers who are not on the same network/domain. They are all working

Independently over the internet. Is it possible to use a license server to share licenses over the web?

Mark,

 

If you QTP License Server has a real internet IP, and you expose it to the the web, anyone arond the world can point to this IP and use your License Server, although I think most of the companies security policies wouldn't allow you to do this.

 

Another option would be getting the engineers to use a VPN to a network that has the License Server running.
