Performance comparison between QTP 11 and UFT 12.0x

Some of my users ane complaining that they are noticing a significant defferent betwene the preformance of their scripts in UFT compare to what they were seeing in QTP. Is there any general documentation that can describe how to maximize the performance of UFT and scripts?

Ruddy,

Thank you for the information. the links you provided are both the same. Is one of thenm supposed to be different? Also from the link you provided it is unclear - Does UFT Essentials requirement me to purchase a new license or can I point it at my current license manager to leverage my current pool of concurrent licenses?

QTP Essentials use a license named  "QTPEssentials" which has limited fuctionality on QTP and UFT for more information about license features you may refer below document:

Hi David,

If your users are experiencing decreased performance of object spy, like loading time, UFT gets hang frequently especially when dealing with object intensive pages or working with many add-ins loaded. This can be due to the enhanced object spy feature, which when disabled can solve this issue.
