QTP/UFT support tip: Can I block the mouse and keybord during script execution?

The answer is yes.

There are scenarios were you want that mouse and keyboard don work from user side in order to avoid unexpected actions during test execution.

In order to do that you can use
SystemUtil.BlockInput to block the mouse and keyboard response.
and
SystemUtil.UnblockInput to recover it.

Example:
SystemUtil.BlockInput
Browser("").Navigate "urlsample"
Browser("").Page("").Webedit("").set "textsample"
Browser("").Page("").Webutton("").click
SystemUtil.UnblockInput
