QTP/UFT support tip: How asociate a shared object repository to an Action in QTP

On QTP>Resourcess Associate Repositories

Click on the green cross and then you will be able to select the OR you want, after that you will be able to add all the actions you want to associate to that OR.

Also on the Action Properties

You can select the Associate Repositories Tab

There you can set as default the repository and after that each action you create in that script will assume the OR automatically.

In order to Modify a Shared object Repository

You have to go to QTP>Resources>Object Repository manager

Select File>Open, in order to open the OR then select enable editing

This will allows you to add or remove objects into the shared object repository.

Note: Remember that those changes will affect all the scripts with that OR associated
