Telerik Control Identification from UFT

Hi, I need to automate application having Telerik control object. Is there any add-in that are required by UFT to identify this object.

Hello there.

When we talk about using UFT with Telerik technolgies, we have to consider that ther support between them is very limited. Although, there are ways to work things outon scenarios like this one.

As Telerik does not have a support 100% feasible in UFT, the tool has not developed an add-in to work with them. However, in UFT you can make use of the UIAutomation add-in and to change from deafult spy to UIA spy. This add-in can be of use for this situation, and if the application is a desktop based, wil be even better.

The vendor "Telerik" offers frameworks for various technologies, among them .NET, WPF, Silverlight and Web, for which HP does not offer dedicated support for it.

There are no current or future plans to implement dedicated support for Telerik controls.

Workaround
