UFT API script Error "Unable to Reopen the API script"


I am following the below steps but not able to reopen the API script created.

  1. File- New Test->API script
  2. Load WSDL
  3. Load XML
  4. Mapped the xml to excel sheet via grid view
  5. save and close the test script
  6. Reopen the script and get the error

Getting the error as "HoldReservation-ErrorScenario' did not load correctly. Sequence contains no matching element HoldReservation-ErrorScenario"

I am using UFT 11.53 version and OS version Windows 7 Enterprise

Earlier also i faced same issue but after hotfix provided by HP support team it got resolved

i would prefer if you can resolve this by having web ex session.

Hope you are doing well.


Could you please let us know if you are saving the test on ALM ?

If so, please what is the exact ALM version and patch level?

Do you have all the permissions required?

Does it worked before on this machine?

Did you install or make configuration changes?


Also will be very helpful if you may provide the old case number to investigate what was provided to solve the issue.
